Primary school situated in Blackheath, south London, near both Blackheath and Kidbrooke stations. There are currently 252 pupils on roll aged 3-11. The pupils mostly come from the local vicinity from both affluent Blackheath and the very deprived Ferrier estate in Kidbrooke. An average proportion of pupils are entitled to free school meals.
Project: The school has what potentially could be a beautiful wildlife area with trees and a small pond. It has been left to get badly overgrown and needs clearing. Tasks for the day include: clearing brambles, clearing the pond area, general weeding and pruning and cutting back overgrown shrubs.
